A tropical falcon version of a vulture, the Crested Caracara reaches the United States only in Arizona, Texas, and Florida. It is a bird of open country, where it often is seen at carrion with vultures.
About Me
Hi, my name is Ringo. I was rescued with a horrible infection in my crop and shoulder. It had gotten so bad that I suffered bone loss in my shoulder which resulted in my being grounded for life. Soon I will be an ambassador for my species and go on educational programs.
